When his SUV breaks down on a distant Southwestern street, Jeff Taylor lets his spouse, Amy, hitch a trip with a trucker to get assist. When she does not return, Jeff fixes his SUV and tracks down the trucker — who tells the police he is by no means seen Amy. Johnathan Mostow’s tense thriller then follows Jeff’s determined seek for his spouse, which ultimately uncovers a small city’s murderous secret.
