The staff of a dye manufacturing unit have their pay lower by 20% when the manufacturing unit proprietor brings in some Manchu thugs to try to improve manufacturing. Desperate to reclaim their full wages, the staff rent an actor to impersonate a priest and kung-fu knowledgeable from the temple of Shaolin. The manufacturing unit proprietor proves the actor a fraud, and punishes all these concerned. The younger actor feels he has let the staff down, and guarantees to atone. He units out for Shaolin, decided to be accepted as a kung-fu pupil at the elite temple.
